“A child will be stronger and more well-educated if parents have fewer children close together.” Women and Children First has been supporting families in the Malga District of Ethiopia with their decision making around family planning. This has led to 88% of all pregnancies being planned - a 28% increase in just 4 years.

Isabella Oliver Launch Industry First Maternity Clothing Donation Scheme, Supporting Women and Children First

Luxury maternity clothing brand Isabella Oliver has launched a ‘Pre-Loved’ clothing donation programme. The scheme encourages former customers to donate their pre-owned maternity wear to either be repurposed, re-loved or recycled. 50% of net proceeds go to support Women and Children’s work with mothers worldwide.

Give Me A Future To Grow Up For: Our Daily Mirror Story

Uganda is at risk from climate change. The country is witnessing longer, more unpredictable rainy seasons. This increases the risk of malaria and malnutrition, both of which can be fatal. Women and Children First is working with our partners in Uganda to help people affected.
