Great North Run, Sunday 11 September 2022: Runner Pledge
Thank you very much for agreeing to run and raise money for Women and Children First! Your support will help us reach more women and children with our lifesaving work, enabling and empowering them to survive and thrive in some of the world’s most rural communities in Africa and Asia.
What’s more your donations will be matched by the Sage Foundation, up to the value of £1,500 per partner.
Women and Children First agrees to:
• Buy you one place at the above stated event
• Provide you with fundraising support (and moral support if needed!)
• Offer you with a Women and Children First branded t-shirt or running vest
• Contact you with updates about the charity’s work worldwide
In return for your place, you agree to:
• Pay £25 in return for your place via www.womenandchildrenfirst.org.uk/donate
• Try my best to raise and pay-in £150 of the sponsorship money on my JustGiving page by Friday 29th July, otherwise unfortunately my place may have to be released to another runner
• Raise a total of at least £400 for the Charity (not including Gift Aid) on my JustGiving page by Tuesday 11th October through sponsorship and/or from my own resources if there is a shortfall
• To inform the charity by Friday 29th July if there is a risk that I may not be able to take part, or do not think I can hit my sponsorship target, so we can discuss whether my place should be released to another runner
