Chapter 2: Why implement PLA-MNH groups?

This chapter explores why PLA-MNH groups should be implemented.

You will learn about the PLA-MNH group theory of change: how PLA-MNH groups can address the barriers women, adolescents and children face in making safe care and care-seeking choices, how these choices can put them at risk of maternal and newborn health problems and how these problems can kill them, harm them or hold them back - mediate their ability to survive and thrive.
